So, apparently I really fail at updating this.
Anyway, winter quarter has begun and my schedule is crazy hectic. I'm taking MMW5 (humanities class more or less), ICAM40(Computer media class), HIEU 104 (upper div. History of the Byzantine Empire), and ANBI100 ( upper div. Anthropology of Aging). I decided to type out all of my homework on one paper with when its supposed to be done by and I'm ridiculously overwhelmed every time I look at it.
I'm super excited for my Lindy Hop class this quarter though. I love swing dancing and I'm really excited to learn more. Also, by being enrolled the class, we get to carpool to the Firehouse every week, which is a swing dancing venue in balboa park. This means, if I want to go every week, I need to get all my homework done BEFORE my dance class on Wednesday. For those of you who don't know what Lindy Hop is, watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAAAV7BB1HU. It's more extreme than anything I'll be doing, but it's ridiculously awesome.
So, Tuesday was Veterans Day meaning no classes. Now, what to do when you are a college student and you have an entire Tuesday with no classes? You go to DISNEYLAND of course! Monday night Caitlin and I had burned 4 CDs of driving jams to get us there. We left around 9AM on Tuesday morning and made a detour to Laguna Niguel to look at all the rich people... and to pick up Josh. Then we made our quest to the Happiest place on Earth (except of course Disney World, which I will STILL argue is superior). Once we got there we waited in line with about a bajillion people to get our picture taken for our annual passports. Mine looks like I have the plague. (Seriously I have weird spots all over, wtf?) Anyway, this trip consisted of 2 rounds of Space Mountain, 3 rounds of Thunder Mountain and 2 of The Haunted Mansion (Nightmare before Christmas style). We also went on Soarin' Over California, Toy Story Mania (the NEW Toy Story Ride over in California Adventure), The Matterhorn (MOUNATIN!), The Teacups, Star Tours, Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise (all 16 of us went on that one together). We ended the night with Fantasmic! which still makes me smile like a 5 year old.
Basically, I love Disneyland. :)
