My name is Bita Darvish Rouhani. Currently, I am a second year PhD student at University of California San Diego (UCSD) with an expected degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I am a member of Adaptive Computing and Embedded Systems (ACES) lab, advised by Prof. Farinaz Koushanfar. My current research interests include Algorithms, Machine Learning, Distributed Optimization, Big Data Analysis with Low Dimensional Models, HW/SW Co-design, Reconfigurable Computing, Statistical Modeling, and Deep Learning. I received my M.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rice University and my B.Sc. From Sharif University of Technology in 2015 and 2013, respectively. I am a recipient of Microsoft Ph.D. Fellowship, 2017.
