I am working toward my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego, under the advice of Professor Gert Lanckriet (UCSD) and Professor Antoni B. Chan (CityU Hong Kong).
I am affiliated with the Computer Audition Laboratory.
I collaborate with:
- the Computational Psycholinguistics Lab of Roger Levy
- the Statistical Visual Computing Laboratory of Nuno Vasconcelos
- and the Video, Image, and Sound Analysis Lab (VISAL) of Professor Antoni B. Chan at the City University of Hong Kong.
My main interest is machine learning applied to (music) information retrieval and multimedia data modeling.
My goal is to create new search technology for analyzing, indexing and recommending multimedia data.
