I have earned my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering at UC San Diego, under the advice of Professor Gert Lanckriet (UCSD) and Professor Antoni B. Chan (CityU Hong Kong).

At UCSD, I was affiliated with the Computer Audition Laboratory, and collaborated with the Computational Psycholinguistics Lab of Roger Levy, the Statistical Visual Computing Laboratory of Nuno Vasconcelos, and the Video, Image, and Sound Analysis Lab (VISAL) of Professor Antoni B. Chan at the City University of Hong Kong.

Currently I serve as founder and CEO of Keevio, Inc., where with my team I continue to advance algorithmic methods to analyze, understand and organize video, audio and music content. Application of Keevio’s technology include organizing video catalogues into browsable channels, identifying the most relevant content for advertisers, or helping users find new videos or songs they may like.
