I think of design as the connection between imagination and creation, its the process of formulating an idea and converting it into a usable format. As a UC San Diego student majoring in Cognitive Science: Design and Interaction, I get the opportunity to create and implement my own ideas through the process of needfinding, storyboarding, wireframing and finally, coding them.
