Founded in July 2021, PI Review is designed for graduate students to write reviews for their academic advisors or Principal Investigators (PIs). Our goal is to help future graduate students to choose their PhD advisors. I have spent more than 300 hours developing this website since May 2021. I am responsible for product design, front-end and back-end development, as well as website content.
Lakers Kayak Club was the place where my kayak experience started. It locates in Qiandao Lake, a beautiful human-made lake in Zhejiang, China. Found in Jun 2015, USTC iCourse is a popular course rating website designed for USTC. Our goal is to help students to share course information and find better courses. As of Aug 2021, it has more than 13600 reviews, 5300 users and 2400 courses and has helped more than 10,000 students to choose their courses. This project was initiated by me in 2014 when I just graduated from my senior high school. Our goal was to improve traditional high school education by introducing Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). We wrote articles to recommend suitable online learning resources for high school students. I conducted interviews with high school teachers and students about how MOOCs could benefit their teaching or learning. We also translate educational videos from English into Chinese.
