Research Interests

I study the accumulation and spatial distribution of human capital and the implications for a variety of contexts, such as the labor market, urbanization, migration, education and health. I leverage various sources of data and blend theoretical frameworks, structural estimation and empirical strategies to understand the causes and consequences of economic decisions in those areas. My job market paper develops a spatial model of heterogeneous agents with occupation selection and team matching and examines how complementarity in teamwork contributes to agglomeration in China.
